In addition to the large main compartment, the K-Cliffs backpack also has a smaller, front, outer pocket that measures H10" x W7" x D1.25" and is held closed by a zipper.

On one side of the backpack is a mesh pocket that can be accessed easily, making it a great place to carry a cell phone. On the other side is a pocket that is also easily accessed and is held closed by Velcro.
